Vexi Technologies ("we", "us", "our") operates the Vexi API and developer portal. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
2. Data We Collect
When you create an account and use the Service, we collect:
- Account data: email address, display name
- Usage data: API requests made, credits consumed, timestamps
- Technical data: IP address, user agent (for security purposes)
We do not collect payment card data — this is handled directly by Stripe.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to:
- Provide and improve the Service
- Send transactional emails (usage alerts, billing notifications)
- Detect and prevent abuse
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your data to third parties.
4. Data Retention
Account data is retained while your account is active. Usage logs (api_requests) are retained for 90 days. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services:
- Supabase — database and authentication
- Stripe — payment processing
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Vercel — hosting and infrastructure
Each provider has their own privacy policy and data processing terms.
6. Cookies
The developer portal uses session cookies for authentication. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Export your usage data

8. Data Security
We use industry-standard security practices including encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed API keys, and row-level security on our database. No security measure is 100% foolproof, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
